When Is a Doctor's Home Visit Suitable?

A home visit is recommended if the patient: – Is bedridden or has mobility limitations – Requires post-discharge medical review – Has chronic illness requiring monitoring – Needs palliative or end-of-life care support – Is immunocompromised or at risk from clinic exposure – Requires medical assessment but not emergency care

  • Note: For life-threatening emergencies, please proceed to the nearest hospital or call emergency services.
